The Abacus Bookkeeping Centre in Bundaberg was established by Neill and Debbie Heydon in June 1994. Neill and Debbie owned and operated their own wholesale distributorship business in Bundaberg which gave them an insight into the bookkeeping needs of small business.
Previously, Neill had a 21 year career in banking, the last 6 at Branch Management level. During Neill's banking days, he saw the need for businesses to have affordable, timely and reliable bookkeeping services where business owners and managers benefit from easily accessible information. The Abacus system is superb at providing it!
Neill has dealt with a wide variety of businesses in the Bundaberg community in assessing their borrowing requirements and identified the importance for business operators to maintain accurate and up to date financial records.
Debbie's 10 years banking experience and dealings with people from all walks of life adds further expertise to their business and understanding of the bookkeeping needs of local business people.
